15mm Treeman and Dragon

Captain's Blog Stardate 201202.06

I redid the shading and helmet of my Norman.

This is an old GW Bloodbowl Treeman. I am going to rebase him onto a circular base

This is a GW Dragon that I got from one of their boxed RPGish games. I don't remember the name of the game.

  1. Very nice. I like the rework of the Norman. What do you think of doing a lighter green drybrush on the treeman?

  2. When I did him years ago, I painted him him the only colors I had. I am red-green color blind (more brown-green), my wife usually picks my colors out. So to tell you the truth Luckyjoe, I am not sure, but I am willing to give it a try :)

It is only bad when she picks my clothes out for work and is mad at me. I don't have a clue until someone says something :)

  3. That Dragon looks huge, would look nice with a rider, you could convert a cavalry figure, the treeman pretty cool.

  4. That's a brave (?) spearman, who is poised courageously on a precepous while being smitten by Dragon bad breath! I agree that some drybrushing around the Treeman's face and hands would really make them "pop-out" and draw lots of attention to him. Very nice job, Sir!

  5. Well, the spearman's obviously the king, you know. He's got a gold helmet. :)
